Want to Know More about Mario Ebanks?
I am an 8th generation Caymanian who’s always been a keen advocate and “Servant Leader” – working effectively behind the scenes in various community and public policy advocacy initiatives. However, the Covid-19 pandemic and the opportunity to reset Cayman’s strategic Vision, priorities and future, compelled me to run in this election. My qualifications, accreditations, and track record of serving my community and these islands demonstrate my readiness to lead. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Major in International Finance & Marketing, and a Minor in Economics & Public Affairs as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration. I was the first Caymanian Manager of the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce in late 1980’s, the youngest Country Manager within Esso Caribbean and Central America in the early 1990’s, and a Senior Assistant Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Community Development in the late 1990’s. I served as the first Director of Labour & Pensions from 2012 to 2015, and, until putting my personal interests and career on hold for this election, I served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the C.I. Airports Authority. Another compelling reason for entering the 2021 election is the conduct and publicly-known egregious behaviours of the WBW incumbent does not represent who we are as Caymanians. My heart is in this cause and my integrity, values, accountability and faith are those things that will benefit all of our citizens, children, and future generations. Please vote Mario Ebanks WBW on 14th April.
